Hello all,

It's time for me to pick a new case. After a lot time spend in research which one i like the most i narrowed down to two choice

Phanteks P400S in white

Vs

Thermaltake view 21 dual tempered glass

What you all think ? In terms of features, looks and size

How easy to build in either of these ?

Any feedback much appreciated

Thanks

both are really good choices!  its really going to be up to personal preference, which one are you going to want on your desk

Both have less than average to terrible airflow.

P400 Has objectively more features, looks better (less cheap) and both are almost the exact same size.

P400 has better cable management options.

What hardware are you using for your system?

Nothing crazy. I5 7500 air cooled , msi b250-m , msi gtx 1060, 500w evga psu.

Planning on adding sleeved extensions.

Does the P400s have the option to vertically mount the gpu ?

The P400 does not, and you really shouldnt anyways. Vertical mounts are poorly placed within cases and cutoff all airflow to GPU's making them overheat.

That being said. a P400 is adequate enough to cool that level of hardware without too much fuss. I would make sure to  put two fans in the front of the case to pull in a good amount of airflow.

Does the P400s have fan hub ? Or do i need to buy one like the silverstone one ?

I am carrying over from my old case 2 fans plus the 2 come with the P400s for now ?

The "Base" P400 and P400 TG do not. The P400S and P400S TG do, the difference being an included fan hub, sound dampening foam and an RGB strip included.

Have any experience with the Phanteks P400S and putting a 240mm AIO radiator on the top? I've seen a few people mention there may be an issue with clearance on the RAM. I'm going to be putting a Strix Z270E board into it.

I don't think you can fit AIO on the top there is not enough clearance. I can barely fit a fan on the top
