New Pc 2000$ CAN Budget

Go to solution Solved by WoodenMarker,

I like the build, but I will prefer to stay with Intel for this Pc.

will the Cpu cooler will be ok if i overclock ?

I will probably buy a kraken g10 (http://www.nzxt.com/product/detail/138-kraken-g10-gpu-bracket.html) for the GPU

The 8350 is better for VMware and is quite cheaper.

The cpu cooler is enough for whatever overclock you'd want to throw at it depending on the chip until you hit 5ghz.

I'd recommend just waiting for aftermarket 290's to see how they do unless you're going with the G10 for the looks.

1. Budget & Location

I have 2000$ CAN budget for the pc and 600$ CAN for the monitor

http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/2lBQJ

2. Aim
I want to play BF3/4, Far cry, Grid 2, and bunch of other game.
I do some virtualization (VMware), computer programming (visual studio , eclipse)

3. Monitors
minimum 2 x 1080p but i will like 3

4. Peripherals

I need a new keyboard but i have no idea what to buy ...
and new monitor (600$ CAN budget)

5. Why are you upgrading?
I have an old laptop and i can't play with it, and its very slow.

I have no idea for the motherboard and the case.
I don't care if the case is big, I want nice cooling.

Change the i7 to a i5 unless you are editing you dont need it.

Get a r9 290, More vram and better for BF4

8gb should be enough ram unless you are editing.

What about a HDD?

I'd wait for aftermarket 290's if possible and see how they fare.

Are you waiting for aftermarket 290's? If you're doing triple display gaming, I'd highly recommend it.
