For people that guitar.

defunkt

Hello. I'm a cat. And I have a question to ask..

As we all know (People who guitar) Gibson Les Pauls need long shaft pots. However, will an Epiphone Les Paul Standard need long shaft pots? I'm pretty sure it doesn't, but it would be nice to know for sure. I guess l'll find out when I get the guitar but ah well. thanks. m8.

Are you planning on replacing the pots, or why do you want to know this?

I'm going to be... Don't kill me.. Switching the Burstbuckers out for EMG's. If it needs long shaft pots I will go for the Zakk Wylde signiture set and if not I will just buy an 81 and an 85.

Short shafts I believe.

Does anyone even use PCIe SSDs?

Don't worry man, I've got EMG pickups in one of my own guitars and like them a lot for the heavier stuff. Most of the hate they're taking is really not called for. Whether or not you will need longshafts I honestly do not know, my guess would be yes but why not just get the guitar, check it out for yourself and then order accordingly. ;)

A way to know if you need long shafts is just do some tests. Take out your pot you have in(don't even unsolder it if you don't have to) and try to shove the long shaft in there(lolz) to see if it will fit or if you will need some modifications.

DiMarzio Evo's...do it.

No. BareKnucklePickups. <3 Juggernauts are all the rage right now. (I'm not saying that because i'm a Periphery fan boy) They are so veritable because they have combined ceramic and alnico design.

Here's another good demo featuring it in a studio recorded song.
