What is the longest time your server/NAS/a network device been on for?

Sheldon

How long has your server/NAS/ something on your network been up/on for?

Here is mine.

I think my teamspeak/gameserver has been running non stop for 300 days a while back, until it rebooted for no reason at all.

But network device in general was probably my router for god knows how long.

You almost made a year! You should have kept it going.   I can't say that about mine :( My Firewall will roboot after I do a big config change.

Well I was going for as long as possible but, like I said I still don't have a clue why it rebooted, hasn't rebooted since and it's probably been about 4 - 5 months or so.

a few weeks. only really rebooted it recently when it was quite slow. There's a new server getting set up by me in a few days so that should be on most of the time without any need to reboot.

Looking forward to see how long you can keep it up, Do you have it on a UPS?

Not very long, my router restarts quite frequently (I do it whenever I restart my Internet modem, which is frequently). I'm going to be making a server soon, so I'll report after :)

Nope, it's not that essential, :D i'm happy with the power draw of 30-55w between idle and load though

generally i'ts like that for me too. start it up when i wake up, play on it while eating breakfast, turn it off before i leave to go out to uni and turn it back on when i get home until i go to bed.

I wish i had your power! There is no real need to have it on when I'm not using it but I do let mine run a few times in the week for Folding@home. Helping out in any way!

My DC has been on 24/7 for something like 1.5 years, with occasional reboots for windows update.  Also have a RAID card on there with 6x HDDs attached.  None of this is rated for 24/7 use officially.
