moving router + modem

Hello. I built my pc, but didnt get a wifi card or wifi enabled motherboard. I want to move my router and modem to my room, but dont know how or if i even can. I have fios and the router and modems they rent out. if it matters, 50mbps down 10 up. its sadly the fastest they offer for my area.

Just try to move it and connect the same cable you plug into your tv into your modem coax cable

so just unplug it then plug it back in in my room? ok. just wanted to make sure that wont fudge up my wifi.

Should be the one with the Coax. The issue is you have other stuff there connected to your router. Im not sure what the second Verizon box is or what the DLink box are. So moving it might not be a good idea.

Ok. thanks. ill just wait till i get my wifi card for my pc and stick with that for now.

May I suggest looking into a powerline adapter for a slightly higher price but better reliability and performance
