Should I flash a GPU BIOS that gives me a increase in Stock Frequencies?

Hi,

 

I was taking a look on the VGA BIOS Collection in GPU-Z and found a BIOS that has a Increased Core and Mem Clock to my Built In One. Is It Recommended to Flash the BIOS to get a extra boost in Core and Memory with Fans going up to 100% vs 75%?

There's one exception to this: some cards have hard coded frequency, voltage or power draw limits that a bios flash can sometimes get rid of. Usually those limits are pretty high anyway so for a normal overclock it doesn't matter.

Why would you? You can just overclock the card manually.

I prefer to flash if I’m gonna unlock fan speed. Aside from that I tend to disable gpu boost and oc the old fashioned and more efficient way. 

 

If if you are fine with the limited fan speed just oc like normal. If you were to flash I would just mod the stock bios for the fan speed if it’s getting too hot.
