MSI Gaming X 1070 Questions.

I am buying a MSI Gaming X 1070, and it has a 6 pin and a 8 pin PCI-E Sockets, anyways, do ihave to plug it into one of the sockets, or both, please and thank you in advance

(I posted  on my friends acc at his house, i am SquidwardOP)Aight thanks, i havnt bought any PSU yet, could you reccomend a PSU thats 500 or 550 watts and not have mustard and ketchup vables

As long as the wattage is sufficient... and even so you know that is a solution every body "hates" suggesting heheh.

 

Regardless, There are cases when it is okay like a friend got a GTX 560 Ti which is 2x6pin but the EVGA 430w Bronze only had 1x6+2pin ... went molex and all worked out perfect.

yes, i am from the United States, and i need a semi or fully modular 500 or 550 watt psu with both a 6 pin and 8 pin PCI-E, ive been trying to find one but cant find any
