Beats by dr dre headphones to gaming headset

CripDawg

I need to know wether the beats by dre studios will work with a cord that splits the aux cable to another 2 connectors that I then plug in to my audio in and out and where I can find such cord on eBay

I know it will work but I'm not sure what the name of that connector is. Sorry!

Maybe I'm not understanding your question, but are you asking what type of connector you need to plug your headphones into both an audio out port, as well as an audio in port? Are you trying to use an included mic as a mic in game?

So what you want to go from a 4 pole 3.5mm jack to 2 3 pole 3.5mm jacks?

The company that I have had the best luck with for those is startech.

Sort of but the opposite I want to plug the single beats connector to the two audio in and out so I can talk and hear game sound

I believe this is what you're looking for: http://www.amazon.com/StarTech-MUYHSFMM-Headset-Splitter-Adapter/dp/B0058DOWH6/ref=sr_1_15?ie=UTF8&qid=1387191902&sr=8-15&keywords=startech+3.5mm That being said, you may just be better off spending a few extra dollars and grabbing a stand alone mic.

get rid of your beats by dre.... there poo'ting

He's got the Studios, which are actually quite decent. Overpriced to all hell but still.. they actually have acceptable audio quality.

The common and absurdly bad Beats headphones are the Solo / Solo HD.

Nothing related to your question/topic, just a running joke in the Audio Subforum where Beats Headphones are known to be extremely overpriced for their worth and 'gaming headsets' are not so gaming as compared to proper headphones + mic.  Sorry if that came off as offensive!
