In Game Lag

I always seem to lag when my parents turn on the pc next to me. Both pc's are wired. The whole network doesn't lag just my pc. My speeds are plenty fast enough and the router and modem are like three months old. And the pc next to me is just used for facebook or other simple things like that. Nothing that requires a lot of bandwidth.

Comcast, I believe I have the Asus 1750 router with the ARRIS SURFboard SB6183 16x4 DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem. It shouldn't be the router and modem becasue this was doing it with my old router and modem.

Yeah, but if you had the SB6190, its know to have latency issues. Had to be sure. To be honest im scratching my head on this one. It has to be something with your parents computer. 

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.

I'm just trying to avoid that pc lol. It sooooo sloooowwww.

Well maybe you should use your technical knowlege to make it less slow. LOL. What i would try first is reinstall the drivers for the Network card on your parents PC. Maybe its a driver issue? You might also check and run a VIrus scan, just to be sure its not infected and sending their data out to some deep dark hole in the internet.
