seems good but if your spending this much on your components you may wish to get a nicer case?

just my personal opinion though :P

I agree about the case, the rest of the parts seem pretty nice but I'd choose a nicer case

Of course its a good rig, you chose the most expensive parts. You don't need 2400mhz, you don't need such a hefty motherboard. You can if you want to, but its a waste of money. You can skimp around alot and put the money to good use. Also get a more solid case.

+ corsair link cooling & lighting kit

I assume this build is meant for gaming so:

Case: Up to your taste, buy what fits your parts and makes you happy.

CPU: Little overkill for gaming, but since you seem to have a high budget, so what.

Mobo: Horrible Mobo, don't buy it. Don't even touch it with a stick. Get a Hero, Gigabyte z87 X UD4 , MSI gd65 gaming or something. Much cheaper + better. For gaming the Mobo is basically not worth spending too much on.

RAM: Dom Plats are waaaaaaaay over priced, appart from the fact that 16gb will do and are already overkill. Check out Kingston Hyper X beast -> A lot cheaper and as good.

GPU: Fine

SSD: 256gb 840 Pro if you have that kind of budget. More reliable than the evo and faster.

Corsair Link is crap. If you want LEDs get Bit Fenix Alchemy or Phobya Flexi lights.

Frost upon these cigarettes.... lipstick on the window pane...

My friend has that case and it looks cool, but it was kind of difficult playing in it.  Plus it was loud as balls, well at least for me, my friend doesn't mind.  Do you already have a nice monitor and Chair?  You could remove some things and live in luxury with your bad ass comp.  Also you plan on doing any rendering and all that jazz or just gaming?

622$? haha dayum. Oh well I have the 780 and it maxes out everything but arma 3 so you're good. I guess if you've got the money for it overkill isn't an issue.

I hope asus releases their 780ti oc in my country soon...

What kind of dollars are you using?

If what you're going for is not mainstream, you're doing it wrong for every other part.

Why such expensive parts? There are much cheaper ones that do the same job. What's the system being used for?
