Hey fellow geeks!

So I’m in my “1080p-to-4K” transition. I currently have a 1060 3gb and it destroys AC Black Flag and Overwatch at 4K but I’m wanting to upgrade something that is a tad more stable at 4K (20fps on Rise of the Tomb Raider ain’t cool). Here’s what i’m thinking:

- 1070 (for lower price)

- 1070ti

- 580 Crossfire

- Vega 56 (only if i can find one “cheap”)

if any 4K users out there have to advice on what cards to get, please lemme know. I’ll be getting a card within a month.

thank you, you awesome nerds

GTX1070 @4k in RotTR max settings wasn't stellar. twice as good as what you're getting on the 1060, but still below 60fps. i want to say it was in the mid 40's. i haven't returned to the game with the 1080ti yet, but you'd probably get a solid 60.

1070 Ti, but if you want 60fps you want a 1080 Ti, or actually a Titan XP since those are cheaper currently.
