Perfect for gramps.. It''s about price Jurru and he could get by without an ssd.. But why would you these days? That WD green is just fine for what you are doing. Gramps will be stoked!

One side thought, maybe ditch the hdd and get one larger ssd.  I doubt your grandpa knows how to save files to somewhere other than default which is on the C: drive IE: my documents.

There is a problem though. The cheapest SSD (480gb) costs around 140,- euros. (SanDisk Plus). HDD (Toshiba p300 500gb) + SSD (120gb) costs around 95 euros.

What should I do? o.O

You don't need an SSD for a 'Basic' pc if you want to save money. Just go with a single 7200rpm HDD. Also I would get the Pentium G4560 or similar as it has 2 core 4 threads same as the i3 but cheaper.

You can mount the hard drive in folder so when your grandpa saves data he will put it in folder which is actually his HDD.

PC Specs : i7 7700k, 24 GB @ 2666 MHz, ASUS Strix GTX 970, ASUS Z170-K, 960 EVO 250 GB, 850 EVO 250 GB, 2x 2 TB WD Purple RAID 0, Green 1 TB

Get the 480 ssd and skip the hdd.. No need for it and the other route would only net you a little more storage. Nothing he would ever miss I'm sure and nothing extra to mess with setting up folders and whatnot.
