So since the meltdown and spectre security patch has been Installed on my 6700k, VIII formula, 1080ti system I am getting random restarts occasionally.

Not as in it will go to the restart screen, as in, its like I pressed the reset button on the case.

It just turns off and then starts up a couple secs later.

Is there any way to remove these patches for now?

The problem is most likely with your GPU and other drivers.

Perform a system scan with sfc/ scannow and also remove and reinstall your GPU drivers. Also check your mobos website for any any patches or BIOS updates.

The truth is it isn't his hardware it's the patch causing the reboots more then likely. Not sure if there making another patch to address the current issue or not. I believe its possible to roll the update back but you would have to disable the auto updates services aswell. But you wouldn't get any other updates if you did that AFAIK.   https://www.theverge.com/2018/1/18/16904726/intel-meltdown-spectre-fix-higher-reboots
