I mean the gtx980ti is 500€ even more ill just get gtx1070 its 550€ btw

If you are just willing to upgrade your graphics card then go ahead. There isn’t anyone stopping you. I personally would just wait till later on in the year when newer and more powerful cards are released with lower prices.

The ROG Strix cards are the same price or even more expensive than a "more simplistic" 1070 Ti, like a Gigabyte Gaming. You're paying for the ROG brand and the RGB lightning etc... Also they are big cards so make sure your case has the space for it.

I bought a Asus Expedition 1070 for 499€ on thursday, waiting for it to arrive... For 550€ I would try to get a 1070 Ti. Unless you're playing at 1080p, for 1080p a 1060 is more than enough.

As for brands, Asus is the most reliable one for sure, EVGA is up there too. The others are cheaper and you can get "unlucky" with them more often.

I would just stay away from MSI since they claim a 4 year old GPU to be very old and supposed to die.

Ryzen 5 2600X / ASRock Fatal1ty B450 Gaming K4 / G.Skill RIPJAWS V 16GB (2X8) 3000Mhz CL15 / Gigabyte RTX 2060 Super Gaming 8GB OC / Corsair RM650X 2018 / Crucial BX500 240GB / Seagate Barracauda 2TB 7200RPM Cooler Master MasterBox E500L /  ASUS TUF Gaming VG27WQ // Rog Orion / Corsair Harpoon RGB Pro / Cooler Master MasterKeys Lite L / Xbox One Red Sport  Special Edition Controller for Windows

Where do they use this

Data centres, government, science, military projects and the like. They learn from the data they are fed and will eventually carry out humans jobs to a capacity.

I used to think a Terminator style future was laughable. Not so much now.

I just built a new gaming / graphic design computer for my girlfriend with:

Msi gaming pro carbon mobo

Trident z rgb 16gb ram

ryzen 5 1600

128gb ssd boot drive

3tb hdd drive

nzxt s340 purple/white case

and for the GPU as prices are crazy right now I went out and purchased a used GTX 970 Asus strix 4gb for 220.00$ CAD and it plays call of duty, battlefield 1, sims 4 all at 1440p 60+ fps on med-ultra settings depending on the game.

I would highly suggest not buying a 1070 right now and purchasing a place holder card (gtx 970,980) for the next year or so then upgrade when the next generation of Nvidia cards come out which will be able to do 1440p / 4k with ease.

I was very impressed with the 970's performance it really is a close match for a 1060 6gb or rx 580 8gb but for 1/3 of the price of those cards right now.
