Check out NiceHash miner and their reddit. Basically you need a Bitcoin wallet and you can use any mining software really. For a wallet, I recommend coinbase or nicehash wallet if you are new to all this, or electrum if you know how transactions work. Nicehash isn't the most profitable software to mine with, but for beginners, it's the easiest to use.

Use winminer instead of nicehash. Fees are only $1.25 and that's only when you withdraw. You can also withdraw to any payment you want eth, ltc, btc, paypal, venmo, giftcards, and whatever else you want

Your card would probably be best at mining Equihash based coins like zClassic, zCash, ZenCash ... zCash (ZEC) would be most versatile and easiest to exchange to $$

 

It would be fairly simple.. Get Jaxx (or any other wallet software, Exodus would also work and it's good) and create a zCash wallet, then find a good pool to mine zCash.. a good one would be Nanopool Zcash ...  here's their help page where they give you links to miners that can mine zCash and explain how to configure them to work with their pool : https://zec.nanopool.org/help

 

Once you reach the minimum payout of 0.01 ZEC, they transfer it to your wallet and then you can convert it to $$ , you can try anycoindirect  https://anycoindirect.eu/en/sell/zcash or any other service or exchange. 

 

 

For Ethereum, you could  just go to https://ethermine.org after creating an ethereum wallet with Jaxx and follow the instructions on the page which tell you how to configure the miner software to mine Ethereum.

And when you receive payout (every 7 days if you make over 0.01 ETH or at your threshold value), you can use various exchanges to convert your ethereum to money. I personally used AnyCoinDirect and it works fine : https://anycoindirect.eu/en/sell/ethers

 

GTX 1080 would be slightly better at mining other coins than Ethereum but nevertheless you'd still make plenty $$ with Ethereum and it's very simple and user friendly the above method... and they're not gonna take 3% of your money in fees.
