Hey Guys,

I planning a new build and I want it to be pretty silent, I read often that Side-Windows are contra-productive and now I´m searching for a case without side windows but maybe a front window like the CMT510. Do you know if that exists and if not does someone have said CMT 510 by FSP? (Link to the case)

Thanks in Advance

how are side windows counter productive while a solid front is not? how is showing off your components not fine but chokeing the fans is? xD

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

I'm not sure where they are getting that side panel windows are (I'm guessing you mean counter-productive, which really isn't true) "contra"-productive...... The main and only purpose of side panel windows is to let you look inside the case without removing the side panel windows. From what I am aware, there is nothing bad about them besides the lack of noise isolation.

Front panels with a lack of adequate ventilation do, however, cause problems. Gamer's Nexus actually points out frequently that you want at least an inch of gap on a solid front panel to allow the fans enough room to breathe, and a mesh front panel is the best.
