As someone with 32GB of DDR4 RAM, I can say that it's nice to have, since I used to make it a point to close out my browsers before playing something like a triple-A game, but now I don't worry about it. It's also nice if you decide to stream, record, or edit videos. I also have 8GB used as a RAMdisk for photo/video/audio editing, as well as my 7zip cache, my browser cache, and a few other things, and I can say that for some things it definitely speeds things up.

You don't have to dedicate RAM manually, memory management is done by your OS and the programs you use (unless you're doing photo/video/audio editing which lets you choose how much RAM they can use). If you don't have a use for it, then by all means sell it for some nice quick cash.

You got your words mixed up their: do you mean you have it in dual channel with 2x16GB, or in single channel 1x32GB?

Doesn't really matter if you're not running integrated graphics/ APU. Why did you buy the RAM if you don't know if you need it xD?

That's an F in the profile pic

The 16gb modules are most likely dual sided / dual banked dimms alot of motherboards are not well suited to these at all especially @ 3200mhz

I've never heard this before....  Any links?

I7-7700k@5.1ghz + 1080ti @ 2050mhz + 32gbs Ram + 2TB SSD = CSGO

i7-6700k@4.9ghz + 980ti @ 1501mhz + 16gbs Ram + 1 TB SSD = Backup

i7-3770k@4.8ghz + 680 4gb + 32gbs Ram + 500gb SSD = Retired/Office work
