First of all, you really don’t need to be using so many spaces between sentences. It’s really annoying, and I could go into more if I wanted. Sorry, got a bit off track. Anyways, I would go with the Ryzen 3 1200/ GeForce GTX 1060 build. It costs less, and for a build you are using just for gaming you don’t need a high profile cpu. The GeFroce GTX 1060 is marginally better than the 1050ti, so this would be the way to go. However, in the future I would invest in a couple of things:

- A better cpu (like a Ryzen 5 that you mentioned earlier, or you could buy an Intel i5)

- Buy an SSD for storage, they are way better than a hard drive

- 16 GB of RAM. You can just buy another 8 GB stick of RAM with the same speed of your other one, then easily install it.

Yeah trust me I’m not happy about GPU miners either. Or crypto currency in general.

So Nvidia has a history of releasing their cards mostly around fall, and around late spring going into summer. Hopefully, this means that we could see some new cards by around May or June. In theory, this should mean that prices on older cards should drop. I’m having conflicting opinions however, because in mid to late Jun, the lates GPU prices start steadily rising up (pcpartpicker has a price trends chart for GPUs). So maybe that means buying a card around early June? That seems to be a good time to buy a GPU, but I want to see what others think too.

TBH 8GB ram is sort of low, while gaming, using discord, running chrome and some other apps you'll easily eat that up.

Dont buy more RAM at current prices!

just get 8GB now and a second stick later... it’s a rip off.

It’s really one of the worst times to build a computer considering GPU and RAM prices.

I would advise to get the 1050Ti only if you can find it for a normal price ($150~).

Otherwise maybe consider waiting for a new gen or prices to drop. But I can also see the reasons of wanting to build a PC when you need it.

I usually edit my posts immediately after posting them, as I don't check for typos before pressing the shiny SUBMIT button.

Swapped the 1300X for a 1200

Changed the motherboard for a B350

Added an SSD

Found a much better priced GPU

Changed the PSU for something that wont explode

Keyboard is just a place holder for yours since I couldn't find it

It might beat out Ryzen on performance alone but not cost per dollar, at least not until the H and B series boards are launched.
