I am looking to build a new pc and it has come to my attention that my card choice is a entry level POS and that i should be ashamed for putting it in a parts list. SO, if any of you know of a good card that is under $200, has 4GB of Vram, and Dual Fans then please let me know... FYI I cant use amazon because they blacklisted my account and will not tell me why so all my parts are purchased through newegg.com. SO if you could please help me out that'd be real nice.

@CryptoMatt I saw that when i was looking at cards earlier... thats part of the reason I picked the card I did

what did you pick, i see no reason why you dont state it. maybe it is a good card and dont know. also knowing the CPU can help us choose the right GPU

Trying to get into the modern times instead of my FX series chip, DDR3, and RX 460(i know this is relatively new) @CryptoMatt

an upgrade would be like a 1070, i mean my rig is 3 years old and still can run all the games i play at 60fps, and i can even play VR at 90fps. only upgrade if your rig doesn't do what you need it to

@CryptoMatt My system is failing every single day... its crashed 4 times today just streaming videos from youtube. I have tried every single fix and trick out there and none of them work so i have decided that im either going to do a full replacement of my PC or swap CPU's and MOBO's to see if that fixes my problem (I'd be going to an FX-8350 and a GA-970A-DS3P)

That's not really an upgrade.

What fixes have you tried?

Disabling C1E and tried to find C- States but apparently my board doesnt have that. I have called an expert on windows os to see if my windows is the problem. I have reinstalled windows 10 5 times in a year and only one of those was due to a full retard on windows. I dont have another cpu to throw in it right now or another mobo to throw in it right now. It was doing this annoying thing were i would shut it down and it would turn itself back on and then one day it stopped doing that and worked like a champ up until yesterday when it started crashing like i was doing a hard shut down on it... it blue screened on me today as well @WoodenMarker

Is the BSOD reproducible? If so, can you post a photo of the error?

You seem to mention the same issue in another thread but it's either with a different system or your specs are changing for some reason. Which one is it? If it's the former, what are your specs?

What ram are you using? Have you tried running a memtest? https://www.memtest86.com/

@CryptoMatt I have an intel system right next to me that is waiting to be delivered to my aunt C2Q Q8300.

Runs great but its too old for my games and its not unlocked for overclocking. I have used intel as a gaming rig a while back but AMD is a hell of a lot more wallet friendly

@WoodenMarker I have not tried that yet. I am using a mix of samsung ram and something else ram but its all DDR3 1333MHZ

You should run a test to see if you're having memory compatibility issues. If it's a 8GB kit with an additional 2GB stick, I'd suggest removing the 2GB stick for fewer issues.

@WoodenMarker it isnt a kit at all... its 10GB of ddr3 that i had lying around... it hasnt given me issues until now. i have a 4gb stick and 3x2gb sticks

Kits are sets of sticks that are guaranteed by the manufacturer to work in their advertised configurations. You're mixing kits and it's likely the cause of your issue. From my experience, the GA-78LMT-USB3 is a motherboard that doesn't play friendly with many kits that aren't listed in their compatibility list.
