Hi There

Im just wondering if there are any small cheap devices that you can plug various ram sticks into and find out what they are, what there speeds is and if they are any good?

 

 

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 2700
Cooler: Asus Ryujn 240
Motherboard: ASUS Prime B350-Plus
Main Storage: Samsung 960 EVO 250GB
Secondary Storage: 6 Terra Raid Array
RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 32GB 3200
GPU: Asus Expedition RX570 OC
Case: Antec Nineteen Hundred in Green
PSU: 1200W

I'm not aware of any, but most memory sticks will tell you speed and capacity, from there you can get a good guess at type.

 

Or if you have a system that will fit the memory into it, just check the BIOS or something.

I haven't seen a motherboard that didn't have a memory test option in BIOS. As far as a small tool that will do it for you, I don't think so.

just put them in a computer and check the BIOS, or create that device and youll probably be a millionaire

most sticks will have it labels on it with a sticker, unless that feel off or its a huge heatsink one but then maybe teh sticker is under the heatsink?
