Barely any better. Should play games at 720p Low/Mid settings.

I think that $300 is too much considering the age of the laptop and HW... at least it's 1080p.

honestly OP are you going to be gaming on the go or will you mainly only be playing games at home cause a desktop paired with a chromebook will offer you much better performance when gaming for about the same price

he might as well spring for an A12 laptop cause it will game about the same as that laptop and be newer
