Why is BF1 lagging so much?

Yeah so bf1 is kind of trash for me rn... I’m able to comfortably play battlefront 2 perfectly fine without any lag on my pc but when it comes to battlefield 1 it’s like it just doesn’t care. Playing on medium (depending on which map) I get around 40-55 FPS I’m I’m lucky 60 for a couple of seconds... but in battlefront two on ultra I can get a stable 70 FPS on ultra? The game for me right now is unplayable because of this and I feel like I even got a better performance out of my old 770 gpu... anyone got a good explaination to why this is happening? Anything I can do to fix it since battlefront 2 has the same requirements but run A LOT better.

EA switched to octa-core Xeons and 128GB of ECC RAM at 4000MHz. Unfortunately, they only had enough budget for 32-bit servers.
