Fan Count Help

I'm having trouble with a build and it's that I want to use 12 fans but I'm not sure I will be able to use them all with PWM on the same software, let me explain. So I know 12 is a lot but please don't talk me out of it and the reasons I'm gonna use 12 is because:

1) Do as I say, not as I do (it is overkill but I want it)

2) I want to take advantage of the number and put not so high rpms on my rads (top, front 360, and bottom 240)

3) Aesthetics

 

The reason I'm having trouble is because I want to use the NZXT GRID+ V3 but that only takes 6 fans or 8 If I use two y splitters so I can't fit 12 fans but if I use the motherboard I can definetley I achieve it (asus maximus X hero motherboard). Why not do that? because I want to put everything on the same software and work it out on cam and it would be really annoying to not do that. My solution is simple but I don't know if it will work, I want to know if I can use two NZXT+ Grid V3 to be able to connect 12 fans total. Help in any way please

From the NZXT web site you can go up to 10 fans.

Why would you ever want the fans to run at different speeds?
