I keep worrying about something in my future build which will be in the define r6 (first ever build also water cooled, dont tell me not to water cool for first build because I've done a lot of research and I am very confident) and it's that I now confirmed I can fit a bottom 240 rad (because of some measurements from a friend, but I'm still asking you guys for advice) in the basement but the problem I'm worrying about is whether or not I can fit a 240 rad (with the ports, where the tubes will come from, away from the front rad) on the bottom with a 360 rad on the front and the front rad's tubing have to be able to come out 90 degree fittings. is there any way you can help me answer that question :)

This should help, from the way they have the case laid out once you fit a 240mm rad in the bottom your front space will be limited so a 360mm will not fit.

Oh thanks, that clears up a lot but shouldn't the pic have a 360 rad in the front because that's what is officially supported, unless the pic only shows max you can fit at the same time

How much space do you still have remaining to the front side wall with a 240 mm rad?

Measure the front side wall and let me know. My InWin 909 case is similar. I barely manage to get out of the spot with a dual rotary.

I believe they are just one at a time to show the options available. Due to the way the 360mm is mounted in the case being low to the floor you are limited to what can be placed in the front when you install a 240mm in the bottom. As long as you have the clearance a 360mm up top and a 240mm in the front will have little to no issues.

This guy is using top and front 360 rads and has good clearance for tubing. I'm gonna put my tubing for the front rad on the bottom to better reach the GPu and pump so that will definitely workIMG_2916.thumb.PNG.1673d4b0bb50c06cc1c1b3463256d412.PNG

Yeah a 360mm or even the larger 420mm as mentioned will have no issue, just note the thickness and width as they have a limit to what will fit.

What do you mean? I said front and top. Bottom is only for tubing, I mean where the tubing will go into and out of the front rad

I just said I don't have it yet

Then start by ordering the case.... i am building a very complex loop in an In Win 909 and i can tell you that ordering everything in advance is a mistake.

An example: on the back wall there is space for a 360 rad. But depending on the individual rad the screw holes don't allign.

In the bottom a 240mm rad has theoretically place but without cutting and filing my HW labs Xflow wouldnt have place and the screw holes still dont allign. To drill new ones is tricky as fuck because there is a pcb underneath.

And that's a big case.

Just order the case, mount your motherboard and then worry about the rads.

There are a lot of things you cant really predict. For sure i would buy the case in advance and then think how much space you are actually going to have, not just for the rads but also for the pump and res.

But it's great if you can take the info from someone elses build ^^
