The game runs really bad...Lag spikes, weird delay on mouse movement etc. Can you help me out and tell if it is a bottleneck judging from the video below. Thanks

1. Are you overclocking anything?

2. Can you benchmark BF1 and post it.

The gameplay looks smooth enough. The delay on mouse movement is probably due to vsync being on. EDIT framerate shows that vsync is not on, I suggest wiping drivers as below.

We have a NEW and GLORIOUSER-ER-ER PSU Tier List Now. (dammit @LukeSavenije stop coming up with new ones)

You can check out the old one that gave joy to so many across the land here

I'd ddu and reinstall the drivers fresh new, once I updated drivers on my old GTX TITAN X (Maxwell) and lost like 30~ish fps in Bioshock Infinite and GPU was not maxing usage, did that and it got fixed.

Just saying this because I saw your gpu usage isn't max out I don't know if you have v-sync or similar on.

I don't have Vsync on. And the gameplay isn't really smooth when you play it, but it looks on youtube since it caps it at 60fps. The mouse dealy thing might be bcs the game skips frames or something like that so the mouse is weird when that happens. I used msi afterburner to show the gpu, Cpu usage to see what is going on. I think that might tell more info than anything else in the video. But not sure how those need to look like.

So the gameplay does not look smooth when you play?

Try capping the framerate at 60fps (without vsync) and see if you get smooth frames. With those framerates you should have smooth camera movement.

If I put Vsync on it will cap at 60fps, yes. But for some reason it keeps dropping at 40 fps very often. No matter where I cap it, it drops below that value... That's why I'm asking if it is a bottleneck

below 60fps or even 60fps feels wierd if you are used to 120hz+

It is a thing. I remember one time i forgot that i had swapped panels from TN 144hz 1ms to 60hz 2ms TN.. and i could not figure out what was wrong for some time.. it felt so bad.. then i went.."ohhhh" i literally had to quit gaming. NB: I am a primadonna when it comes to gaming.. so and so feel, high fps monitor, so and so heavy mouse++

Idk, is the cpu maxed out? Mine always are playing bf1. Unless I used my old rig on 1440, then it s flawless.

If you have weak cpu's like me and an average gpu, bf1 will punish you.

Usually yes. I'v tried 1440p with DSR and 125% and nothing really changes. Gpu usage goes a bit higher but not stable 95%+

Edit: What is "virtualization"? I see it enabled on your 4790k

Hmm with 1440 mine is locked at 99-100 usage. Playing on 1080p with a 1080 is unplayable for me. Ive only had a usage issue with using this last update on windows 10. So I went back to the last build.

I would try a clean install of the drivers, as in check the box when installing it. Then default settings on bf1. Then switch it ultra preset and 120% on scaling id using the 1080 monitor.
