I got sort of board, and I want to know what themes/music that is tech-related are nostalgiac to you

Mine is the original Nintendo 3ds E-shop theme

EDIT: 3 replies and no one posted gullies theme. More than surprised. Also, the LTT notification sound will probably be notorious in 10 years

1993 changed the world with E1M1:  "At Doom's Gate"

Final Fantasy X and "Suteki Da Ne" (looking it up might produce a spoiler, so I wouldn't do it if you haven't played the game) has a special place in my mind, as does pretty much anything from Lunar:  The Silver Star.

Of course, there is always the main theme of "The Bard's Tale" series.

The Sega CD startup music will be stuck in my head forever.  Hell, I remember what I was eating the first time I heard it, and that Qsound processing is still impressive.

Anything from Vice City, which when I express "wow, I remember that song from my childhood!" people get super confused, because, if you didn't know, Vice City plays out in the 80's and I am not exactly from the 80's.

But a lot of techno and trance songs are fairly nostalgic. And yesterday someone reminded me of 'Ch!pz', basically a childrens music group from the early 2000's which I suddenly got nostalgic over.

And oh man, don't even get me started on the OST's of Pokemon games, mainly Yellow, Gold and Diamond.

there's a music genre called Synthwave that captures the 80s nostalgia. and as someone who isn't from the 80s as well, I love the genre.

plenty of Synthwave artists, and it's growing... The Midnight, FM-84, Gunship, TimeCop 1983, Scandroid, Waveshaper, Jordan F...

Recently instead of watching YouTube videos (because the videos have gotten boring) I have been listening to a ton of music, including synthwave.

Synthwave, Vaporwave (and all the genres close to it) and Eurobeat genres have been growing on me, because of the nostalgic sound some of them have to me.
