Finally completed my build

CallMeMysterious

Part list here

All of those prices are manual because I bargain hunted for them. It worked out really well if I do say so myself.

The motherboard was used, bought from Microcenter for like $65 BUT was missing an I/O shield and the USB 3 header was damaged. I fixed the header by carefully bending back a couple bent pins.

The CPU was on sale for $145 at the time (or somewhere around there)

I kind of had to buy the case, my old one was micro atx and the Z97X-SLI is an ATX board. Kind of regret not spending more on the case as it was missing a screw and standoff for the upper left corner.

I got the SSD from Best Buy ages ago, so I estimated the price

The 1TB Western Digital I bought with my own money and the Seagate drive my dad gave me because he said, "It's broken. If you can fix it, you can keep it." so I did just that. (Bad partition)

The RAM was in my last build before the prices went up, about $65 a stick (I bought them separately)

The GTX 1060 was on sale for $200 ish on amazon but it isnt the FTW+, just the model with an ACX 3 cooler

To be honest, I don't remember how much the PSU costed so I estimated based on its current price

The monitor was a gift but I added its price anyways

I bought the keyboard and mouse with my own money (and a few keycaps broke about 4 months after getting it, the left control key, escape key, and right arrow key)

The Samson headphones were given to me from my dad as well. (he didn't like them because they were open back)

The Aokeo mic was bought because I had some money in my amazon account with no real reason behind it, but it sounds awesome according to my friends.

I also bought a couple more blue LED fans for the front and back mounts because it already came with one blue fan (I would've preferred red LED fans but oh well)

All in all, this PC was an awesome deal and performs really well in the games I play. I don't have exact numbers, just what I saw in the framerate counters. Later I might come back with exact numbers

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege: around 80fps average at very high with no AA at 1080p

League of Legends: 200+fps pre-minions (for whatever reason it drops after they spawn and has low GPU usage) around 100fps after at highest settings with AA at 1080p

PUBG: 80 ish FPS average, high/very high settings, medium AA, low post processing, low foliage, ultra view distance

Yeah it should be good! It is kinda an old architecture tho it may go slower quicker from new releases

Other than the B2, none of the Bronze or below rated EVGA PSUs are good. Cheap and high wattage doesnt mean it's good value.

Well the 500B was the go to PSU for budget builds not too long ago and all reviews seem very positive.

You don't need to tell me not to judge a PSU by the wattage. I just said it was a good PSU for a value (low budget) build. We are not talking about a Corsair VS series here.

I didnt say it performed badly, but I did say it is unreliable. That's why I recommend OP to replace it when warranty is about to expire.

I think I've had it for 3 years now and I have used it across like 4 builds (minor upgrades besides my finished gaming PC) and I never have had a problem with it. I would recommend it, but for my next build I might get one of their gold rated power supplies like this one

Mostly because it's semi-modular but the efficiency boost will be nice
