Personally I cannot type without looking at the keyboard period and my practice/issue is that i use only my "Thumb , index & middle fingers on my left hand to type but all my fingers except the small finger on my right hand!"

i hit the keys with my fingers..  

 

 

but in all seriousness i'm halfway converted to touch typing.. still need to look down at times  and i tend to only use my index and middle fingers....

i dont have my fingers on the asdf and jkl; keys. they kind of float above the keyboard and i go and hit the keys. so kind of an advanced hunt and peck.

I use most if not all of my fingers at both hands and I can touch type.

However, I don't really follow the fingering of a "real" typist.

I just follow what I like best which could give me better typing speed.

 

I still get some typo sometimes when I touch type but since I'm touch typing, I can notice the mistake immediately and fix it as I'm looking at the screen while I'm typing.

I only use my index fingers to type. Most of the time i look down at the keyboard but i can touch type.

its not really that hard, there are alot games for learning to type, most of them are free so i would suggest trying that

 

typing without looking at the keyboard isnt really that hard, just takes some practicing, just like riding a bike

10 fingers. You should try, the first time is really hard to do, but now I can type as fast as I talk.

I type with all ten fingers, rarely throw an eye at keyboard and always keep my palms down, because I just don't get people who types holding their palms in the air.

I use my left thumb to hit the space, all the other fingers are layed out on the keyboard, 67WPM without looking baby!

i cant use my pinckys i find it is uncomforable to use my pinky fingers tp type

I find I use the thumbs and first three fingers on each hand while I type. I do look at the keyboard, but I don't actually need to. I kinda look in the general direction of the keyboard and zone out

All fingers on the keyboard while typing and no looking at it when typing. So if I type I usually dont look at the keyboard only the monitor
