Hey guys, I need an experienced builder's opinion on the build I'm working on. Here is my part list:

I bought the two GPU's, PSU, and monitor from a friend for pretty cheap. I know the SLI with the 760's won't be the most fantastic thing in the world, but I'm hoping for now it will manage, especially with GPU prices being so high.

Will the PSU hold up well? I've heard mixed opinions about it, and I'm worried it could do some damage if I push the system too hard. I do plan at overclocking at some point in the future, but I'm probably going to hold off until I have the money to upgrade the PSU. If you have any tips for me, or suggestions, I'm all ears.

Thanks!

Your PSU should be fine for a little bit more, but I'd try to get a CX550M if you can. I wouldn't trust your current PSU to last too much longer.

I, personally am wary of any modern PSU that is not 80+ rated. Currently, the TR2 is in tier 7 (worst) of the PSU tier list. The PSU is probably alright until you can buy something better like a Corsair RX(i/M) series of around 550-650 watts. As long as you are planning on upgrading GPU's, the 7700k is a solid option, but the 8600k would also be a good choice. Beyond that, the build looks pretty solid.

I would say that the power supply will be fine for what you are trying to do. At max, you will probably be only using around 500 watts (even with an overclock to your CPU). The PSU is also rated 80 plus bronze and will provide roughly 200 watts of expansion room in the future. I would say unless you notice something wrong with your system (i.e. shutdowns or crashes when pushing the system) then I would keep the PSU and spend your money elsewhere like in getting a single more powerful graphics card.
