So I recently purchased an Antlion ModMic 4.0, to replace my Blue Snowball iCE.

I wished to use my headphones but not have a big clunky boom arm, so I searched for the best clip on style mic.

My issue is that when recording with the microphone, there is a constant hissing (*screeeeee*) noise.

I have tried to plug it into both the front and back but the issue still persists.

Videos on Youtube are leading to an USB soundcard, but I have no knowledge of that area.

If anyone knows how to fix this or what is the best USB soundcard, please reply, thank you!

Just 1 of these should fix it: https://www.amazon.com/Sabrent-External-Adapter-Windows-AU-MMSA/dp/B00IRVQ0F8/ref=sr_1_3?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1514700455&sr=1-3&keywords=USB+to+audio

Antlion sell one exactly like it, probably to do with the on board audio interference or something.
