Ideas on New Budget Build in India

SanketSB237

I have a desktop which is 10 years old which I want to replace.

I have created a list of products which I thought would be a nice budget build. Please provide suggestions on the same.

I have not added storage since I have a new 1TB Seagate Optical Drive. I also have other components like monitor, keyboard, mouse, speakers and UPS.

Please note that I want my PC to be around the 35,000 Indian Rupees price range.

Also, I am a software developer and am not much into gaming. I would be using the machine mostly for software development and regular use.

Ok, here's a few suggestions.

1. The GT 1030 is pretty aweful. try upgrading it to a GTX 1050.

2. Going with a Ryzen CPU will give you similar preformance, for much less.

If you take these tips, here's what it looks like.

The GTX 1050 will out-preform the GTX 750 ti, and cost less.

If you're buying used, the 750 ti will most likely be cheaper. Just remember, it will not preform as well, and it does nopt come with any warranty, in case something goes wrong with the card. When buying new, the 1050 is cheaper.

Who buys a 750ti new nowadays... For software development sometime just having a graphics card is enough, no need for good performance

I would really recommend against buying used parts still.

I was skeptic about AMD processors but on more research it turns out that Ryzen 5 1400 is a lot better than i5 7400 at the same price range. Is it really better to go with R5?

Absolutely. They are much better in terms of price to performance than most of the present Intel CPU's, including the I5 7400 and a Ryzen 1400 will outperform an I5 7400 in many games, especially when overclocked. Also, if you do want to upgrade over the next two or three years, you can do so on the same motherboard, including for the new Ryzen CPU's coming out in a few weeks, which you can't do with the latest generation of Intel CPU's. Looking at your build though, make sure that you have at least two fans in the case, with one at the front for intake and one at the back for exhaust. If the case comes with at least two fans, you should be fine though. You could also put any money saved on the CPU towards an SSD, which would make a big difference to things like boot times.

Yes Amd ryzen 5 is lot better than any intel cpu right now.

Also plz for god sake don't buy parts from amazon.in , their prices are stupidly high (i live in India too) buy from stores near you area.

If u live in delhi , u can go to nehru place OR if u live in Mumbai u can go to Lamington raod and get much better deals than online.

But if u can't buy offline then buy from here ....

1) Mdcomputers.in

2) primesAbGb.com

3) itdepot.com

also u should ask about your build on Reddit on r/IndianGaming , u will get much better answers there , compared to here which is mostly US centric forum.

I'm assuming you meant a 1TB Seagate Hard Disk Drive. No such thing as a 1TB Optical drive lmfao.

Ryzen would be better due to having the ability to upgrade easily enough on the socket down the road.

I'd try and get a better gpu if you can, since most games tend to want more vram
