i3 7300 upgrade

Hey, does anyone know a compatible upgrade from i3 7300 with the h110m-r motherboard from asus im looking max price 250

 

also before u ask my gpu, its a gtx 1050 ti and im not upgrading it, when my bro (with 1060) upgrades to 1070 etc i get his 1060 and my 1050ti goes to our gpu storage
 

i3 7300 is absolutely perfect for what I want, just if I ever want to upgrade, I want to know what to get

there is nothing that makes sense spending money outside going with the i7 7700

Do not buy 7th gen new right now and in the close future. Prices are still stupidly high and they arent worth it for their performance.

7th Gen i7s are coming down in price now, a 7700K is now $260 at Microcenter. For a gamer looking for more CPU performance it's actually not a bad deal, yes I wouldn't buy one over a $230 8600K if building a new system, but if you are on a 6th/7th gen mobo and looking to upgrade this is as good as it gets.
