So i bought this pc from a guy off ebay, the specs are a ryzen 3 1200, gtx 960 ssc, 16gb ddr4 2400hz, asrock b350m pro4 mobo, 500w evga 80plus standard, 120gb ssd for boot, 1tb hdd for storage, so the problem is my pc just keeps restarting randomly, ive looked up many things, Overheating, based on the monitoring app i had the gpu and cpu were at normal temps 30c at idle and 50c when in game, then i checked the memory, ran a test still nothing wrong, then i ran a malware bytes full pc scan, no threats (accept infamous), so finally i decided to re install windows, got everything re installed all drivers up to date, and still shutting down randomly, the person i bought it from didn't put any motherboard screws in at all so a friend of mine sugested that it might be shorting on the metal of the case, i ordered some of ebay so thats done, but if anyone could help me that would be great thanks!

Check windows event viewer for the reason it's shutting down.

Haha yeah we posted at the same time, I saw your reply.

You can go to your list of programs and under admin or system tools there should be event viewer.

Then you need to look through all the events around the last time that the PC shut off to find what the cause was.

Yeah then look through the windows system logs for something that looks like the cause of the restart or shut down.

This is under critical

Most often a PSU or motherboard issue.

Easiest way to figure out which one is to borrow someone else's PSU to test.
