Strix X370-F CPU Light (SOLVED)

nolanmcdermott

I just got a few new parts for my system to replace my old broken CPU and Mobo, a Z370-F gaming mobo paired with a Ryzen 1600X CPU and Corsair H60 cooler. At first when I booted the completed build up, it was just fine, booted into BIOS just fine. Just some grinding from the cooler pump, but that's a seperate issue. So, I went to change my boot settings because it was acting fine, and restarted to boot into my SSD and- it wouldn't. It just turned off and back on, then stayed on a RED status light, meaning there's something wrong with the CPU. I made sure I did everything right in the manuals, and that should be proven by the first boot working flawlessly. What did I do wrong? The case has plenty of airflow and is even open from the side panels! The CPU area does not seem to be hot at all.1514227234023892512151.thumb.jpg.35fc53b7fbe101715bfff7f69d3adfa5.jpg15142272716511308611136.thumb.jpg.72c874a354479d309cc6490bd1855825.jpg
