Hello.I just build myself a new budget(sort of)gaming pc and i have a question about ram overclocking.

My specs are:Motherboard Msi B250-Pro vdh,cpu-i7 7700k(i know and i dont overclock it was cheaper than the non k version for some reason and wanted the extra ghz boost),ram-Hyperx Fury Black ddr4 2133 cl14 2x4gb and a gigabyte gtx 1070 windforce oc.I went in the bios and used the xmp profile to oc my ram to 2400mhz going from 2133-cl14-14-14-36 to cl16-16-16-40 my question is can i lower my timings just a wee bit? how can i do and can i do that do i need to up the voltage or can't i because i have a b motherboard? Thank you.

You can certainly tighten your timings for additional performance. I have a guide in my signature that goes into detail on how to do so. As for your concerns with being unable to change voltages, you can still work on timings without needing to tweak voltages. I say try to get the primary timings as tight as you can within the confines of your default voltages, then work in tertiary timings. Once that is finished, go back and tighten secondary timings, doing a stress test after each change until you are finished.
