Just mounted mobo cpu and RAM, HELP

nelfdez

Hello LTT forums

I just mounted my new R5 CPU and there's a problem

The PC turns on when I press the power button but back panel USBs won't get powered (keyboard Mouse and headphones are not turning on their lights) and there's no video signal

My MOBO is AsRock AB350M

Can you help me? Thank you

Have you check the manual to see if there are any error leds or readouts on your mothboard

No led on the motherboard

My theory is that I plugged the power button or USB cables wrongly

It'll help if you told us the system specs...

If I had to guess out of the lacking of information here it is faulty RAM, make sure you are using the correct DIMMs, check the mobo manual.

I meant that the parts that dont turn on are dead, not necessarily the whole thing is. Sorry
