What is v9 ??

It's similar to OpenCandy or Conduit, it hijacks the browser and displays ads. It's technically not a virus, but just annoying adware.

SuperAntiSpyware is another good one for removing the annoying crap.

Nothing to see here - move along.

did

dident work :/

It could still not be on your PC, the browser extensions and homepage redirects could still be there. Try re-installing your browser. If that still doesn't work, try scanning using HitManPro in safe mode. (spam F8 on boot)

check your hosts file C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc\hosts for redirects and remove them :), then check if your browser has any unwanted addons

Here is the best way to clean away infections; All can just be downloaded and ran from Windows.

1) AdwCleaner - Run/Scan/Clean. Simple to use. Will reboot system.

2) Run JRT (same site as AdwCleaner if you use Bleepingcomputer.com)

3) Run HitmanPro

4) Finish with ComboFix.

5) Run CCleaner to remove any junk files

Takes about 15 minutes. I recommend to do this every 6 months if you're a safe user.

If you have a system restore point from when it wasn't around, try reverting to that.

No... Infections can get into restore points and cause the same problems again. Just a waste of time imo.
