Is it safe to put this 1060 into my MB?

Yana

Hello all, I want to buy a gtx 1060 https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127963  but the dimensions of it can "FIT". The reason why I quoted that was because it fits my case by about a 1.5-2 inch margin. but the main problem for me is my MB, on PC part picker says that there are no complications/issues. My motherboard is a MSI B150M PRO-D., but im worried about the "blocks" that are on the motherboard. when I try to install it do you think I would have issues doing it?

Unless someone here has the exact same parts layout as you, nope we cannot know if it fits

I'm not entirely sure what "blocks" on the board you're referring to. You mean the two SATA ports?

It should fit. Most motherboards and PCIe slots are kept a certain way so as to not block their usage.

They are called standard for a reason. Nothing on mobo will block GPU that is made for ATX and PCIe standards. Your case might have space restrictions for length and hight of card.
