Hello there,  today I received my core i5 7600k, coolermaster 212 led heatsink, and my 1tb western digital hard drive. Installation went smoothly I removed and cleaned my existing i3-7100 with rubbing alcohol to get the thermal paste off. I put it safely in the plastic container I received it in. I installed my new cpu and made sure to line up the gold triangles on the cpu and mother board socket. I next installed the new heatsink following the directions in the handout. After that I connected my new hard drive while still keeping my main ssd connected. I turn on the power supply and my graphics card light lights up. I push power and nothing happens. I go back and look at the cpu and two of the corners on the right side are bent. In panic, I try to bend them as straight as I can. I try again and still my computer does not boot. Next I try my i3-7100 and this does not work either. The mother board pins in the socket seem to be untampered. What could possibly be wrong? Thanks for all your input.

one time i was installing an AIO cpu cooler, pc was upright, i removed the clamp for the cpu on the MB, was holding the backplate on one side of the mb and trying to sit the cpu in and screw the cooler on, the cooler slipped with the cpu and my screwdriver did a brutal drift on the mb cpu pins. holy shite it was heartbreaking. like one side of the socket had like 120 pins fucked. used a bobby pin and a magnifying glass and straightend them out. it still worked. for about a year, when i did some maintainance, the same shit happened again, another drift with the screwdriver. said fuck it and got another mb and sold this one.straightened out the pins before i sold it, the dude who bought it says its working perfectly lol.xD
