Is asus x299 rampage Vi extreme good for overclooking?

Hi,I have recently  purchased asus rampage VI extreme x299 motherboard,and now I'm waiting on my i9 CPU to be delivered... But,I have noticed that this mobo have only one 8 pin EPS and one 4 pin power connector for CPU.Will those  connectors be enough for i9 7900x CPU even OCed?Now I'm a bit worried  so I had to ask for the opinion of the community...

The amount of power available isn’t the full story. The VRM quality matters most. You really don’t need both the 8 and 4 pin for a 7900X by the way. The 7980XE is a different story.

interesting...so this mobo isn't for higher core count than i9 7900x?I have read that VRM on this board is top notch...or  I'm wrong?
