Currently I have two mouses, Logitech G502 (Main mouse) and an old logitech mouse (don't know model, used for scrollling). The Logitech G502 is a great mouse, however the scrolling is really bad.

Concerns
I wonder if connecting two of these mices on the same computer could create conflicts and in return damage the main mouse (G502)?

In the past:
I've been using 2 mices on the same computer for like 6 months, the main mouse started acting weird (changing dpi randomly and left click sometimes won't work). The sub mouse right click sometimes wont work. I'm not sure whether its the result of using two mices on the same computer or its just a conincidence that they both decided to gave up on me. Noted the last main mouse was used for 2 -3 years, sub logitech mouse was used for 5 years+. They both were fine until i started using them together on the same computer.

I somehow doubt that.

And i see no connetion on why using 2 mice will damage each other.

They are both Logitech mice but they may not use the same drivers.  Maybe they are conflicting with each other.  Maybe it's time to find something a little newer, then you can get rid of the two mice you are using, or trying to use.

Having multiple input devices of the same type technically works but it can have issues at times, normally priority is given to one and the other is disregarded.

It's not something the absolute vast majority do so almost one even thinks to check if it works let alone fix any bugs that may pop up.

And no, damage wont be caused to either mouse.

Not sure if any of you experience this, but the G502 unlock scroll often scroll in opposite direction. For example when you scroll down really fast, sometime it scroll up a little bit then scroll down. This never happen with the lock-in scroll, and consistency key for me. There is no inconvenience for me in using two mouses, because G502 is for normal use / gaming, sub mouse is for scrolling through videos for editing. My sub mouse scrolling is probably the best scrolling I've ever used, it is stable fast and make minimum noise, capable of hours of work with consistency. I'm just afraid using two of them together might damage the G502, like my older main mouse where the dpi changed randomly when you left or right click. Maybe it is just a coincidence that they break down when used together, but that is what i fear and would love some clarification from you guys.
