SSD not showing up anywhere

Hello,

 

I had removed my Samsung 850 Evo 500gb SSD a few months back to test in my laptop. I never did put it back in my computer and now when I go to put it back in my computer it is not recognized at all. I have tested the cables with another HDD and they work with that HDD. So I know that it is something with my SSD though I am not sure what. 

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you seen this thread, it may help but that person was on Mac OS

Ex frequent user here, still check in here occasionally. I stopped being a weeb in 2018 lol

Nope, I tried it on my laptop and it doesn't work.

I had to do this with a hard drive a while ago, press win + x to go to disk management, right click a "uninitialized" drive or something like that and click initialized. 

 

 

this will erase all of your data.

 

just try messing around in disk management for a while and it should work.
