Zen+ Pinnacle Ridge release date?

I wanted to discuss the upcoming Zen+ / Pinnacle Ridge release by AMD.

This is supposed to be the successor to Ryzen 3,5 and 7? Is it worth waiting for these CPU's over the current Ryzen 5 1600 for example? In terms of price / performance?

 

The reason I ask is that these CPU's are "supposed" to launch in February - March 2018, but AMD has the annoying habit of endlessly postponing their releases. Ahem * vega * Ahem.

 

So, what are the chances that we actually see the new AMD CPU's on store shelves in February or March?

Slim chance honestly. 

My guess is if it's announced sometime next month, you can probably expect it at least closer to June.
