Headphones for Library

Hey Guys, Im searching for a solid pair of headphones for on the go and especially for studying in the library. (mostly listening on the phone) So Noice Cancellation for me as well as for the people around me would be important. Any Suggestions? Price Range is up to 250€ (300 if significant upgrade)

I would advise against open back headphones but most headphones with Active Noise Cancellation are closed back so that shouldn't be an issue.

I'd recommend the Bose QC35 Mark 2 but Bose has been exposed for listening on music being listened to on them a while back.

Sennheiser has an equivalent product but is slightly more expensive I believe.

Judge a product on its own merits AND the company that made it.

How to setup MSI Afterburner OSD | How to make your AMD Radeon GPU more efficient with Radeon Chill | (Probably) Why LMG Merch shipping to the EU is expensive

Oneplus 6 (Early 2023 to present) | HP Envy 15" x360 R7 5700U (Mid 2021 to present) | Steam Deck (Late 2022 to present)

Mid 2023 AlTech Desktop Refresh - AMD R7 5800X (Mid 2023), XFX Radeon RX 6700XT MBA (Mid 2021), MSI X370 Gaming Pro Carbon (Early 2018), 32GB DDR4-3200 (16GB x2) (Mid 2022

Noctua NH-D15 (Early 2021), Corsair MP510 1.92TB NVMe SSD (Mid 2020), beQuiet Pure Wings 2 140mm x2 & 120mm x1 (Mid 2023),

Audio-Technica ATH-M50x 128.98 best pair of headphones i used excellent sound quality there's no boosts or anything. Only issue I've had is the padding it got worn out but bought some new ones amazon worked like a charm.

Oh puh-lease! The ATH-M50X is far from flat despite what graphs may indicate, certainly didn't sound flat to me when I'd auditioned it. Besides, OP mentioned Noise Cancellation (which, to me, is different from noise isolation), the M50X isolates noise passively, noise cancellation sounds more like active rather than passive (though it's all semantics).

At OP, You can try Sony MDR1000X or the pricier MDR1000XM2, lower priced options would be Sennheiser HD 4.50 BTNC. I gave the HD 4.50 a short listen, noise cancellation is decent but definitely some compromise on sound (all active noise cancellation cans compromise on sound, it a question of degree of compromise). Still for a closed back ANC BT can, it wasn't half bad. Please bear in mind that I've only own Sennheiser HD800 and IE800, so I can't compre the sound from these to the HD 4.50.

You probably don't need active noise cancelling, but just a good closed back that isolates realitivly well.
