If I wanted to upgrade my rig a little which should I upgrade first and what should I upgrade it to.

Depends on the use you need for you computer. If you want a better gaming experience, GPU. If you want a better overall computing experience, CPU. If you just want a much more responsive system overall, grab an SSD. If you are memory bottlenecked, upgrade to 8gb... and so on.

deffo cpu upgrade would be a big upgrade for u, u can upgrade gpu later always, ul gain alot of fps already from upgrading cpu coz that thing hits 100% in almost all games :P , just play with lower settings for now and get that extra fps from a more beefy cpu

List the system specs, then we can give you constructive advice.
You might have 4GBs of DDR3, or a 220W PSU that you don't list, and we tell you to get a RX 580 level card.

@just tilt

Sorry for not posting full specs, here they are:

CPU: Intel Pentium G4560

GPU: Nvidia GTX 1050TI

RAM:8GB DDR4

PSU: 400W

Motherboard: MSI H110M

This will also be primarily for gaming

If I were you, I'd sell the whole thing except for the MOBO and RAM, and upgrade from there.
What's your budget?

Well at the moment I'm in no dire need to upgrade immediately, and budget-wise something from £600+ just depends what an actual noticeable improvement a new system will have over my current one.

600 GBP plus what you get from selling your CPU, GPU and PSU or without?
If it's the first one then you can get a good upgrade.

600+ most likely, I could also wait and add on to the total price to get a really good PC, since like I say I'm in no immediate rush from the current PC since it still works as intended for now.
