XtremeRampage

So around 2 months ago i was using my pc normally when all of a sudden my pc monitor turns black and my system fans go crazy. Removed graphics card ( Asus gtx 1080) everything runs perfectly on intel integrated graphics. Sent it in, they claimed to have fixed it. Worked fine for about 1 month but then again it happened, same problem. Sent it in around 3 weeks ago, got it back 3 days ago. Worked fine but tonight again the exact same problem even after they sent me a “new” card. What do i do. Ive speent over $100 on shipping maybe you guys can help. I turn on my pc everything runs normally buy after a few minutes screen goes black and all the fans in my pc go full speed. Never overclocked. Could it be my PSU? Got an evga supernova g1 650w. When i remove my graphics card everything works perfectly fine. Somebody, anybody, please help!

Motherboard maybe.. I had all the same symptoms.
I went through $300 in replacement parts for various hardware... MultiplePSU/Memory/OS's, CPU swaps...
R9 290, for a time... was fine, then nope, like the memory clocks jumped up, voltage did, not as fast and crash.
RMA, its fine..
Wasnt, same issues, black screen, reboot into VRAM dots all over the screen

RMA, its fine..
Wasnt, same again.. (but I have a new PSU now)
RMA AGAIN, Sent back a R9 290x, didn't say anything about the previous card.
Same issues.
Anytime I pulled lots of power, the mainboard would give up, it wasn't my PSU/RAM/CPU or other hardware (as I'd be removing all drives ruling out all non needed parts)
Basically I bought a whole new platform over 9 months testing this stupid 290/290x, spent more time with it away from home, than inside my PC.
With my new motherboard and all the old gear, it worked fine. But still got rid of it months later and bought something more efficient.

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

It could be the PSU being slightly bad, giving out unstable/low quality power and resulting in GPU issues as GPUs pull quite a lot of power.

Try another power supply, if you can. Try GPU in another computer, if you can.

move to norway, our consumer law states that manufacturer has 2 attempts to fix the same error, if it appears a third time, you are legally allowed to return the product and get all your money back.

though it might not be the most helpful answer in this case :P

Have you tried to perform a sudden temporary interrupt of the electricity flow to your computational device followed by a re-initialization procedure of the central processing unit and associated components?
