No, it won't.

You can even shut one down and delete them and it will be fine.

The VM's are isolated so they are independent from each other.

if I were to build a pc like Linus did in the 7 gamers 1 cpu video, would shutting down or putting one "instance" to sleep, would that shut down or put the others to sleep?

I doubt it, as they are virtual machines.
