20 seconds is the speed I get booting on my HDD, My SSD is about 5 seconds. You're doing something wrong.

What SSD? Mine takes like 7 seconds maybe less. It changes each time.

TBH, boot times mean absolutely nothing in the real world. Not like you are constantly restarting your PC over and over. If you can open something ridiculously bloated/inefficient like Photoshop CS6 in ~2 seconds, you're doing well.

Yeah something might be wrong then, sounds to slow to me. What version of Windows do you have on it?

Could be a slow BIOS, Windows 8 boots in 3-5 seconds on an 840 EVO for me but it takes 15 seconds to get past POST and the other SATA controller crap.
