Try unplugging the keyboard then plugging it back in again. If that doesn't work, you'll need to reinstall the drivers manually.

This might sound silly but is your keyboard plugged into usb3.0 ports? If so try 2.0 ports. For some reason some corsair keyboards don't like 3.0 ports

Why would you need new drivers?  Any USB keyboard should work (Minus any fancy additional features) with the most basic built into Windows drivers.  It's part of the design.  This is WHY a keyboard and mouse will happily work in the BIOS.

If I were you I'd use mouse only and go in and install any third party keyboard drivers and then just let windows use it's own.

Use the mouse.  You can uninstall a driver with just a mouse in Windows.

Things worked before installing the android Simulator thing? In that case get rid of the android simulator. I'd also run a good anti virus scan as well. When weird things happens after installing a download, it gets a bit suspicious.

....

What Android simulator did you install? You very well might have let some awesome STD virus or other awesome malware into your machine. Saying you installed some random thing without sounding like you know what it is wouldn't be a good sign...

Have you done and AV scan?

I wonder if it's just broke and that's causing driver issues.

Can you sanity check this keyboard and plug it into a different computer or laptop?

Try unplugging the keyboard, uninstalling the drivers, then restarting, then plugging the keyboard in.

Hold the boat for a second. People are going way beyond here, forget the keyboard not working. You have said that it stopped working after installing the android simulator.

Process of elimination here, get rid of the android simulator completely. Also for peace of mind run a full anti virus scan.

Yeah, I just figured I would offer the original poster my general school of thought for troubleshooting. If something worked then after doing something it then did not work there is a very good chance that what they did is the problem.

I know... Malicious software can corrupt drivers and registeries. I've seen them mess with keyboards before as well.

Hey another idea..... -> Safe Mode.....
