Is the FX line from amd processors going away? If so do you think I should return my 8320 ($100) and my Asus m5a99fx pro r2 ($100) back and wait for their new processor lines? Or throw some extra cash into Intel maybe?

It's not going away. That was a rumor. AMD corrected it.

Even if AMD commits to the AM3+ socket for another decade, motherboards of today will still be out of date as chipset features get updated. You should just stay with that you've got unless it isn't fast enough for what you do now. Otherwise, you can literally wait until the end of your life for the next release.

Most likely in 2015 we'll see a new flagship FX chip.

Same with Intel for broadwell. It's becoming rather difficult to shrink the die size of these processors. Once we reach 10nm-5nm... don't expect much improvement after that, it might just be a halt for the both of them for another 5-10 years once Quantum computing becomes a thing or if they decide to prolong moore's law with 4D transistors and use something else other than Silicon.

We might see a new AMD CPU by the end of 2014 but not before hand. Also, I doubt it will be FX branded, I have a feeling they will change it to another prefix since they ate up the end of naming with the FX-9000 series. That is unless they come out with an FX-10000 series which I doubt. I would expect them to start a new naming scheme as they did with the GPUs.
